Upon their arrival, officers discovered the victim had already left the scene, driving themselves to seek medical aid at a local hospital.
The investigation by the Boston Police led to the discovery of ballistic evidence at the scene of the incident, near an apartment building on Dalessio Court. Police located an SUV shrouded in crime scene tape outside Tufts Medical Center, situated about a mile from the shooting location.
