As temperatures in Pittsburgh are expected to soar above the 90-degree mark, CitiParks has announced that it will continue to operate six of its Healthy Active Living Centers as Cooling Centers on Wednesday, July 10. Operating from 8 AM to 7 PM, the Cooling Centers are strategically located at various community-centric spots throughout the city. Among the facilities welcoming Pittsburghers are the Beechview and the Brighton Heights Healthy Active Living Community Centers. With the temperature rising, these centers serve as a reminder of the city's commitment to its residents' well-being.
Also on the list are Greenfield, Homewood, Sheraden, and South Side Healthy Active Living Community Centers, each prepared to offer a cool space to anyone needing a break from the sweltering outdoor conditions.
