A tragic event unfolded on Route 51 in Pittsburgh last night, when a young man on a motorcycle met his untimely end. According to a statement obtained by the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department, the incident occurred just after 8:30 p.m. between Woodruff Street and Crane Avenue.
First responders arrived at a sobering scene, finding the motorcyclist, a male estimated to be around 20 years old, lifeless on the pavement. Despite wearing a helmet, his injuries were too severe, and medics pronounced him dead on the spot. Cara Cruz, reporting PIO for the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department released details indicating, that the rider had been traveling outbound on Route 51 when the crash happened.
