Yesterday, a 25-year-old man was shot to death at a DeKalb County apartment complex, prompting a police investigation into the incident. FOX 5 reports that officers from the DeKalb County Police Department responded to the scene at the 2300 block of Woodcrest Walk, located in the Woodcrest Village apartments, around 6:45 a.m. upon receiving reports of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, detectives found the man with multiple gunshot wounds. The name of the deceased has yet to be disclosed by officials. Near the same complex, a previous shooting in November had resulted in an injury, as Atlanta News First reminds us.
While the police have yet to identify a suspect or motive for the shooting, they are calling on anyone with information to come forward to help bring resolution to the case.
