Gill, who fronted as the operator of seemingly legitimate businesses like Cable Upgrade and Dish Upgrade, colluded with affiliates in Pakistan to deceive elderly Americans by promising them non-existent services; he then directed their payments to his PO boxes in Portage, after which he made bank deposits and transferred funds to the call center's solicitors, an MO now laid bare by federal investigators.
