In a press release shared on their official Facebook page, the Folsom Police Department reported a shooting incident that occurred last night in the area of Duchow Way and Wales Dr. According to the Folsom Police Department's statement, the call came in at around 8:45 p.m. yesterday. When officers arrived, they found one adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
First aid was rendered at the scene, and the victim was later transported to a local area hospital for further treatment. Searching the area a short time after, officers took Bryant Coulson, a 31-year-old from Sacramento, into custody. The arrest was made in relation to the shooting, having located Coulson nearby after the incident occurred.
Coulson has since been booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail, facing charges including Attempted Homicide under 664/187 PC, and being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm under 29800 PC. Details regarding the circumstances that led to the shooting or the current condition of the victim have not been fully released.
