After a harrowing wait of over three months, a Sacramento teen who vanished in April has been found unharmed in Portland. According to the KCRA report, the Sacramento Police Department confirmed the 17-year-old girl was last seen on April 19 and was located safely on July 18. The police had issued an urgent appeal for her whereabouts on June 4, following increasing fears for her safety.
It was during the late evening, around 8:13 p.m., that the news came through of the teen being found. Critically, the individual she was discovered with had not just one, but two felony warrants to his name out of Sacramento County, relating to both the illegal possession of a firearm and vehicle theft. The Portland Police Department undertook the arrest for his warrant, as detailed in the FOX40 report.
Before the teen was located, the Sacramento Police insightfully pieced together her journey that seemingly traversed state borders. The department, according to statements obtained by FOX40, noted that upon leaving Sacramento, the teen seemingly drifted for several days in Portland, Oregon, before moving onwards to Seattle, Washington.
