
A disturbing incident unfolded on the west side of San Antonio Tuesday night, where a homeowner was hospitalized after being shot by a man he confronted for urinating in front of his residence. According to KENS5, the altercation occurred around 10 p.m. on Zupan Street when a driver chose to relieve himself on the sidewalk outside the man's home.
The situation escalated after the homeowner, reported to be in his 30s, stepped outside to address the driver's inappropriate behavior, the driver responded by shooting the homeowner in the arm and then fleeing the scene, police said the homeowner was later transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive, the suspect has not been identified, as details on the shooter are currently scarce.
Police are now actively investigating the shooting, trying to piece together what transpired on that residential street. The man was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. Updates are pending as law enforcement continues its search for the perpetrator. FOX San Antonio reports that the shooter quickly jumped back into a vehicle to make his getaway after the altercation.
