
A tragic outcome unfolded during an alleged domestic dispute in San Antonio's Far Westside, where a 45-year-old man was fatally shot early Saturday morning. According to FOX San Antonio, the San Antonio Police Department responded to a family violence call near Boling Brook St and Hickory Trail around 9 a.m., where they discovered the man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
The incident, reportedly took place after an argument that began the previous night and resumed the following morning, when the woman returned to the residence. It is alleged that the man had been physically assaulting the woman, a juvenile, and another family member before the woman shot him. The 45-year-old man was subsequently transported to the hospital but later died from his injuries.
LMtonline reports that the 40-year-old woman accused of the shooting stayed at the scene until authorities arrived, and was then arrested by the police. Further investigation uncovered that the woman and the deceased man were significant others, and the shooting was a result of the escalating violence within the home.
