A man is currently recovering in the hospital after an early morning stabbing in San Antonio. The incident took place around 2:20 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of North New Braunfels Avenue and Potomac Street. As per News 4 San Antonio, the victim, who has not been named, was found with a stab wound to his neck. He informed police officers that he was simply walking down the street when he was attacked by an unidentified assailant.
Following the incident, officers searched the vicinity but were unable to immediately locate the exact location of the crime. The search is ongoing, to uncover any leads that might bring the assailant to justice. The victim was transported to BAMC and remains in stable condition, as reported by KENS 5.
Despite the incident's violent nature, police have reported no additional injuries. Authorities have yet to release a description of the suspect, and they are asking anyone with information to come forward.
