
San Antonio's South Side community is on alert as police intensify their search for a suspect involved in a recent armed robbery. The crime occurred at the Stanley Ice Station convenience store at the intersection of Southcross Boulevard and Creighton Avenue, reported FOX San Antonio. The robbery took place shortly after nightfall, around 8:22 pm on Sunday, June 23.
According to details provided by the San Antonio Police Department, the suspect entered the store and brandished a pistol at the unsuspecting clerk. Seemingly calm and controlled, the suspect demanded the register's contents and commanded the clerk to get down on the ground. The suspect, guiding the alarmed clerk into a back room, proceeded to lock them in before making an escape on foot.
