San Antonio's recent high school graduates found a helping hand in planning their futures this past weekend at the Level Up Resource Fair. Taking place at the Roosevelt Clubhouse from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, the event, according to FOX San Antonio, offered resources ranging from college counseling to job placement assistance, all aimed at guiding young adults on a course to success. The fair not only steered incoming college students, but also those considering trades, or simply seeking employment, toward the next steps on their professional path.

Several local organizations, including San Antonio ISD Postsecondary Navigators, Ready to Work, and Project Quest, were on hand to answer key financial questions and offer career advice, as News 4 San Antonio reported. The Department of Human Services of the City of San Antonio collaborated with CafeCollege to bring this event to life, and it was open to anyone aged 16 to 24 in need of assistance with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), college enrollment, or job hunting, and graduates were also offered a chance to explore their interests in various career fields which could help them down the line.

Attendees of the Level Up Resource Fair also had access to other services including financial assistance, housing, or direct employment with NXT LEVEL Youth Opportunity Center, Metro Health, and Communities in Schools being some of the entities offering support. The event emphasized providing attendees with a clearer understanding of potential career and education pathways.

Registration for the event was made available through the Level Up Resource Website, ensuring those interested could easily sign up to engage with the numerous representatives present. The fair aimed not only to enlighten but also to propel recent graduates toward achieving the next level in their respective journeys whether that be further education or immediate entry into the workforce.
