The San Antonio skyline will be aglow with more than a hundred thousand twinkling lights this holiday season, as the Ford Holiday River Parade makes its majestic mark on the city. Slated for the evening following Thanksgiving, on November 29, from 7 to 8 p.m., this year's theme "Toy Box Adventures" promises a whimsical showcase down the River Walk. Visit San Antonio has confirmed the grand marshal as Phil Green, CEO of Frost Bank, who will lead the parade's 27 floats, each paying homage to vintage, and modern toys alike.
Tickets, which range from $12.50 to $40, are now available for those wishing to secure a spot for the anticipated event. Free viewing zones on the east side of the River Walk between East Pecan Street and Richmond Avenue will operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, offering accessibility for everyone looking to partake in the festivities. The parade will commence at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, marking a bright start to the holiday season with an expected radiance of lights shining upon the River Walk, according to KSAT.
For those unable to attend in person, the event will be broadcast live on KMYS CW35, ensuring no one misses out on the seasonal spectacle. Regarding accessibility and ticketing, all the necessary details, including a viewing area map and ticket purchase options, can be found here.
