O'Brien's log states that at approximately 3:08 AM, at the location of 3412 University Avenue, the victim engaged in a physical altercation with the two suspects, which resulted in him being stabbed in the abdomen, according to the San Diego Police Department Watch Commander's Log.
The suspects left the scene immediately following the incident and remain at large. A detailed description of one of the assailants was provided: a Hispanic male adult, estimated to be between the ages of 35 and 36, 5'6" in height, weighing around 150 lbs, spotted wearing a black hat, black shirt, and blue jeans. The second suspect has been described as a Hispanic male adult wearing a white shirt along with blue jeans, but no further details (NFD) have been disclosed. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance, where he received treatment for his injury.
