He had an outstanding Felony Warrant for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Wessel, his counterpart, was juggling eight open Misdemeanor Warrants. So when the deputies arrived, it wasn't just a strange face they were greeting, but a couple of much-sought-after individuals.
Herman was quite straightforward about the outcome: "Both suspects were arrested and booked into Harris County Jail for their open warrants."
