The Sanford Police Department issued a public call for assistance on Friday in the effort to locate and apprehend Carlos Jerome Smith Jr. Through its "#FindEmFriday" campaign on social media, the Sanford Police Department released information regarding Smith, who is currently wanted on multiple charges, including first-degree felony murder and attempted second-degree murder.

Sanford police made it clear that Smith is also facing charges of burglary with assault or battery, attempted robbery with a firearm, and firing a missile into a dwelling, vehicle, or aircraft.
