Authorities in Orlando are intensifying their efforts to locate Edwin Cortes, a 65-year-old man who has not been seen since July 19. According to WFTV, Cortes is known to spend time around Lee Vista Boulevard and South Econlockhatchee Trail, a detail that might prove vital in the search. The man's family has provided a description, noting that Cortes sports a beard and a distinctive scar on his right calf.
The search efforts appear to have been ongoing for more than a week now. The Orlando Police Department took to social media on Tuesday to appeal to the public for assistance, as stated in a report from ClickOrlando. Cortes was last seen around 4 p.m. on the date of his disappearance.
