Seattle detectives are turning to the community in hopes of gleaning information that can lead to the apprehension of a suspect involved in a recent Queen Anne bank robbery. According to the Seattle Police Department's Blotter, the incident occurred on June 28, when a woman is reported to have taken an undisclosed amount of money from a Wells Fargo branch.
The robbery unfolded around 2:40 p.m. when the suspect approached a bank teller, demanded money via a written note, and subsequently made off with the cash, successfully evading capture by officers who arrived in response. The SPD has not been able to sufficiently identify or apprehend the suspect and is now seeking help to quickly bring this case to a close.
The suspect's description has been released in detail by the authorities: an Asian female believed to be in her 20s with black hair. At the time of the crime, she was reportedly wearing a black mask, black hat, black jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes. This information has been disseminated with the hope that someone may recognize the individual and come forward with relevant information.
