The incident happened on the evening of July 23rd, with the Memphis Police Department responding to a 911 call at 7:15 p.m. The victim, found with a gunshot wound, was pronounced dead at the scene, and another security guard has been detained in connection with the shooting, though charges had not been immediately filed.
"It was a fatal shot," stated Memphis Police Maj. Christopher Parker, indicating the severity of the incident, as quoted by FOX13 Memphis. "I’m used to getting checked at the door, they make you spin around. They wand you down and check your purses and your bags," patron Alexis Partee told WREG.
