The male and female victims reported the incident shortly after it occurred, setting off a quick response from local law enforcement.

On July 28, 2024, at around 1:16 a.m., officers were patrolling in the Southeast District when they were flagged down by a male and female complainant, who stated that they were robbed at gunpoint by unidentified individuals.

In the wee hours of July 28 at approximately 1:16 a.m., the police were flagged down by the victims who detailed the frightening experience, as the officers happened to be patrolling nearby, the Baltimore Police's social media update indicates that the officials immediately began scouring the area for suspects upon receiving the victims' report and their intervention led to the swift apprehension of a 21-year-old suspect.
The suspect in question was found and arrested in the 3700 block of Bank Street, a relatively short distance from the scene of the crime, demonstrating the effective presence of police in the neighborhood. Following the arrest, the individual was then taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where they would undergo the necessary legal processing.
Ongoing investigations and updates on the case have yet to be disclosed by the authorities.
