
Authorities have made an arrest in connection with a robbery that took place in the Southeast District of Baltimore. The incident, which occurred on May 26, involved a male victim who was assaulted and robbed by an unidentified male suspect. According to the Baltimore Police report, it was at approximately 6:23 p.m. when officers arrived at the scene on the 6800 block of Eastern Avenue.

On May 26, 2024, at around 6:23 p.m., officers responded to the 6800 block of Eastern Avenue to investigate a call for an armed robbery.

Following the crime, detectives took over the investigation and, over nearly two months, were able to both identify the suspect and obtain an arrest warrant. Details about the investigation process haven't been disclosed, but it was revealed that a collaborative effort between several units including the Warrant Apprehension Task Force, Aviation Unit, Northeast District, and Eastern District led to the arrest of the 35-year-old male suspect on July 16.
The suspect was apprehended without incident and has since been transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was processed by the law. As is customary, the name of the individual taken into custody has not yet been released to the public pending further proceedings.
