Yesterday, deputies of Constable Mark Herman's Office were dispatched in response to a suspicious persons report in the High Point Pines area after a resident reported a man attempting to burglarize his vehicle. The suspect, identified as Antjuan Mobley, led the homeowner on a chase down the streets of the 22000 block of High Point Pines Drive, according to a social media update from the Constable's Office.

The pursuit came to an abrupt halt, however, when Constable K9 "Tejas Briones," accompanied by his handler made a swift arrival on the scene. Tejas was instrumental in apprehending Mobley. The suspect, Mobley, was subsequently placed under arrest for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and was taken to the Harris County Jail.

"Antjuan Mobley was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. His court and bond information have not been set at this time." Constable Mark Herman's statement read.
