
Recognizing excellence in the ranks, the Air Force has announced its 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year for 2024, highlighting the accomplishments of its top enlisted members who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, job performance, and personal achievement over the past year. One of the distinguished recipients is Technical Sergeant Jose Lucero IV from the 301st Fighter Wing, praised for his exemplary service which sets the benchmark for his peers.
According to NAS JRB Fort Worth, the selection acknowledges the top tier of Air Force personnel, and Lucero's inclusion in this esteemed list is a testament to his hard work and dedication, TSgt Lucero IV's accomplishment shines amongst the breadth of talent within the Air Force, and carries on the luminous tradition of the "Defenders," a term of pride within the service.
In line with the armed forces ceremony and decorum, TSgt Lucero IV has been duly celebrated, being called to represent both the Department of the Air Force (DAF) and Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) in this prestigious acknowledgment.
