In an early morning incident at Glen Burnie, police responding to a 911 call arrested a 16-year-old male suspected of attempting to break into an Exxon gas station. The Anne Arundel County Police Department reported that the call came in at approximately 12:40 a.m. for an attempted burglary at 720 Aquahart Road. An officer, already monitoring the Computer Aided Dispatch system, arrived on the scene to find one of the suspects at the shattered entrance before any formal dispatch was issued.

The suspect, whose identity has not been released due to his age, attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended by the responding officer a short distance from the scene. His accomplice, however, remains at large.

Anne Arundel County Police have issued a call for assistance to the public, urging anyone with information related to the incident or the second suspect to come forward and contact the Northern District Detectives at 410-222-6135 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
