
Early Thursday morning, a shooting in San Antonio's southeast side resulted in three people being hospitalized. According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers responded to the shooting at approximately 2:30 a.m. near Piedmont Avenue and Vanderbilt Street, as reported by KENS 5.
San Antonio authorities have detained four individuals in connection with the incident, wherein a group of men, reportedly walking around discharging firearms entered an alley and then unleashed multiple shots into a backyard on Steves Avenue, as detailed by FOX San Antonio. Among the victims was a 17-year-old boy, who was shot in the arm, and two men in their 30s, both sustaining gunshot wounds to the abdomen, with one also hit in the shoulder and leg.
All three victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment; one of the men, shot four times, is in serious condition while the other man and the teenager are reported to be in stable condition. The suspects were tracked down and apprehended by the police on Piedmont Avenue and Vanderbilt Street.
