Three Suspected in Gleannloch Farms Home Invasion Arrested During Traffic StopSource: Facebook/Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4

Constables from Mark Herman's Office have taken three men into custody in connection with a brutal home invasion in the Gleannloch Farms neighborhood earlier this month. On Wednesday, during a routine traffic stop conducted at Greenlow Drive and Rankin Road, authorities pulled over a vehicle later linked to the alleged crime. Constable Mark Herman's Facebook page detailed the arrests and subsequent charges.

Occupants of the stopped vehicle included Demerce Dennis, wanted on an outstanding warrant for Indecent Assault, and Harron Jennings, who police found in possession of illegal narcotics. A convicted felon named Tommy Armstead was also among the passengers. They all quickly fell under suspicion for more serious crimes when the officers discovered evidence tying them to the armed home invasion from July 15.

Further search of the vehicle unearthed multiple firearms, ski masks, and clothing items. Deputies were able to connect these items to the home invasion through surveillance video positively. "All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Dennis Demerce was arrested for the open warrant and charged with Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His total bond has not been set out of the 486th District Court and County Court 16. Harron Jennings was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tommy Armstead was charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Their bond has not been set out of the 486th District Court,” a statement by Constable Mark Herman.

The investigation continues. Further announcements and details on the court hearings for the suspects are expected to follow as the case progresses.
