The Las Vegas downtown scene is about to get a taste of the tropics with the upcoming opening of Glitter Gulch Tiki, a new tiki bar taking the place of the former Nacho Daddy location on North Fourth Street. Slated to open its doors this Friday, the bar is a creative endeavor by the original team behind Nacho Daddy, a name synonymous with indulgent nacho feasts. KTNV reports a refreshed space where patrons can dive into a selection of small plates including coconut shrimp and a variety of Dole Whip variations.

Glitter Gulch Tiki, named after the glittering historic nickname of downtown Vegas, promises a combination of classic and inventive tiki cocktails. According to a Las Vegas Review-Journal article, drink enthusiasts can expect concoctions like the Mai Hands Tai'd adorned with a cherry, served over dry ice, and topped with grenadine float and lilikoi passion fruit foam, or a Three Rolls and a Spin which includes a mix of rums and rum liqueur garnished with an alluring ensemble of berries under an umbrella.

The interior, designed by renowned tiki stylist Bamboo Ben and his son Blake Bassham, captures the tropical ethos with features like a straw hut-covered bar and custom glitter and leather seating. With a 90-person capacity, the venue boasts beachy lounge areas, a centerpiece bar, and a dance floor accompanied by a stage for live music. A standout visual element includes tiki window wraps by local artist Shawn Gatlin, also known as You Killed Me First, merging Vegas' neon legacy with tiki aesthetics.

Opening daily from 5 p.m. onwards, Glitter Gulch Tiki invites locals and tourists alike to unwind in a space where the spirit of the South Pacific is brought to life right in the heart of Las Vegas.
