
Two individuals have been formally charged in connection to a shooting in Clairton that resulted in a fatality earlier this month. According to WPXI, the incident took place on the evening of July 12, when first responders discovered 27-year-old Terell Blanks with multiple gunshot wounds. Blanks was pronounced dead at the crime scene on the 900 block of Madison Avenue.
The subsequent police investigation aided in swiftly identifying Thomas Walker V, 27, as the shooter. Walker, a North Braddock resident, and Ciara Clifton, 25, from McKeesport are the accused individuals facing serious charges stemming from the incident. "Through witness interviews and surveillance videos, it was determined 27-year-old Thomas Walker V of North Braddock was responsible for the shooting," Allegheny County police were reported to say by WTAE.
Walker now faces charges that include criminal homicide, criminal conspiracy, as well as carrying a firearm without the necessary license. His alleged accomplice, Clifton, is charged with criminal conspiracy in a connection that authorities are working to detail. Both Walker and Clifton were apprehended on July 25 and are currently detained at the Allegheny County Jail.
