
A house fire in Orange County's Winter Garden area resulted in two individuals being taken to the hospital on Saturday afternoon. Flames and smoke were reportedly visible when Orange County Fire Rescue units arrived on the scene at the 12000 block of Marshall Farms Road, as per a report by WESH.
The situation unfolded to quickly escalate, requiring assistance from the neighboring Ocoee Fire Department and Winter Garden Fire Department. Two people were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment, and a therapy dog was also treated for smoke inhalation. Amidst the emergency response, the American Red Cross was duly notified to potentially assist those affected, as detailed in a release by WFTV.
Images from the scene shared by the Orange County Fire Rescue depicted heavy damage, with 50 percent of the house involved in the blaze. While specifics about the incident remain sparse, there was no immediate information available on what might have caused the fire.
