
Two men were injured in a shooting at a raucous pool party in Houston's Westchase neighborhood earlier today. According to Click2Houston, the incident occurred around 12:50 a.m. in the 10940 block of Meadowglen, where a confrontation broke out amongst the noise of the celebration.
Reports sourced from FOX 26 Houston indicate that following the initial dispute, one resident, irritated by the party, returned to open fire into the crowd after their demands for quiet were not met. The shots, which were fired in their buttocks, found two males. The two victims were swiftly taken to the local hospital and are reportedly in stable condition.
As investigations unfold, the Houston Police Department is looking into the matter more deeply, trying to determine the sequence of events that led to the altercation and subsequent violence.
