A report from the University of Central Florida Police Department details a sexual battery incident involving a man and a woman who were both passengers on a Lynx bus, leading to a distressing confrontation in a campus parking garage. According to WESH, the woman was followed by the man into the Amelia Street Garage on Sunday night, where he allegedly grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the stairwell. This assault prompted the UCF police to actively pursue the suspect's arrest warrant.
Neither the victim nor the suspect was a UCF affiliate, a detail reported by Fox 35 Orlando coverage of the events, with the suspect's identity remaining undisclosed at this juncture, efforts are underway by detectives to bring the man into custody and he faces serious charges that include a sexual battery.
