According to the official press release, at nearly 8:02 p.m. on July 8, police officers from the First District rushed to the scene at the 1200 block of Potomac Avenue, Southeast, after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered four individuals, two men and two women, all suffering from gunshot wounds. The male victims, with more serious injuries, were transported to local hospitals with life-threatening conditions and, the female victims were also taken for medical care, their injuries categorized as non-life-threatening.

The search for the vehicle is part of the ongoing investigation to uncover details of the incident and bring those responsible to justice. The MPD has not released a description of the vehicle at this time but urges anyone with information about the shooting, or the vehicle in question, to come forward.
