
A serious fire engulfed a part of a North Austin apartment complex Sunday night, sending one woman to the hospital with critical injuries, officials stated. As reported by CBS Austin, the fire which could be seen billowing out from a first-floor window of the two-story complex located at 2819 Foster Lane, prompted a swift response from the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The victim, an adult woman whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to the Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries, as per CBS Austin.
The Austin Fire Department, according to FOX 7 Austin, responded to the incident around 7:12 p.m., where they managed to knock down the flames and began ventilating the affected areas.
