Commuters in Wright County should prepare for detours as construction begins on a new roundabout aimed at improving traffic flow and safety at the busy intersection of State Highway 25 and County Highway 83. Starting August 5, according to a Wright County announcement, County Highway 83 will be closed between State Highway 25 and County Highway 148 (Braddock Avenue).
The closure marks the commencement of Phase 1 construction, rerouting traffic to access the County Government Campus from the west via County Highway 83. To lessen disruptions, the construction plan is divided into two stages. While Stage 1 affects County Highway 83, State Highway 25 will remain open until the second stage begins in mid-August.
