The City of Arlington has garnered recognition on the international stage with the conferral of two Bronze Awards by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The accolades were given in merit of the achievements represented by the Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center, specifically in the categories of Real Estate Development & Re-use and Public-Private Partnership.
"We are absolutely thrilled to announce this year's award winners. These exceptional projects showcase remarkable dedication and ingenuity within the field," said Kevin Kramer, Chair of IEDC’s Excellence in Economic Development Awards Advisory Committee, as per the City of Arlington. Kramer continues to illuminate the significance of the awards, citing that "The City of Arlington’s contributions will leave a lasting impact and demonstrate its commitment to creating positive change for its residents."
The two awards that Arlington received are part of the IEDC's annual Excellence Awards, which recognize the significant contributions of economic development organizations, government entities, and collaborative initiatives. These accolades honor not only the successful execution of impactful projects but also the dedication to revitalizing communities and refining the practice of economic development.
