According to the Houston Police Department, while arriving at the business, an armed male suspect was engaged by the police. In the incident, with the suspect being fatally shot and later pronounced dead at a local hospital, no members of law enforcement sustained injuries. Around 9:30 p.m., the tragic climax was reached, indicating that the affair had quickly escalated.
The HPD has initiated an investigation to ascertain the series of events that led to the death of the male suspect.
