
The City of Lewisville amps up for its yearly celebration with the announcement of country stars Ashley McBryde and Chris Young headlining the Western Days festival, slated for September 27-28 in Old Town Lewisville, according to the City of Lewisville.
Ashley McBryde is set to grace the stage on Friday night with her performance kicking off at 10 p.m., and bringing with her a repertoire praised by the New York Times as from country's most "down-to-earth songwriter," having honed her craft in the humble confines of biker bars which clearly defines her gritty and heartfelt country tunes, with her latest album "The Devil I Know" showcasing singles like "Light On In The Kitchen" and "The Devil I Know" adding to her acclaim, being a Grammy, CMA, and ACM award winner whose performances consistently sell out, as per the City of Lewisville.
Chris Young closes out the event, occupying the same stage Saturday night and wielding an arsenal of hits that helped forge his status as a multi-platinum global entertainer; Young's accolades comprise Grand Ole Opry membership, over 5 billion on-demand streams, and a slew of top-ranking singles, with his impact on country music underscored by Billboard's top country artists of the decade mention, his latest work, "Young Love & Saturday Nights," evidencing his creative prowess, not just as a singer but also a writer and producer.
