Tragedy struck the Central District on July 14, when authorities were called to a home on Abbott Court and discovered a fatal scene. Sierra Johnson, 38, was found deceased with apparent head trauma, according to information released by the Baltimore Police Department.
Bryan Cherry, 36, was quickly caught by police just a few blocks away on Homewood Avenue. This arrest follows the tragic death of Johnson, who investigators believe was violently attacked by Cherry. Friends and family are now seeking answers and closure as the case progresses.
Detectives transported Cherry to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder and additional charges.
