
After an intensive investigation into a fatal shooting in Baltimore's Western District, authorities have taken 41-year-old Mandaria Jessup into custody, charging him with the first-degree murder of Sean Henson Sr., aged 49. The Baltimore Police Department shared details of the arrest, which was made after Jessup turned himself in at the police headquarters on August 13.

In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Western District on August 10, 2024, investigators have arrested 41-year-old Mandaria Jessup.

The incident took place on August 10 when local officers responding to a report found Henson suffering from a gunshot wound in a home on the 1100 block of Tiffany Court. Despite medics' efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at an area hospital shortly after.
Jessup's surrender to police headquarters occurred without incident, and he has since been taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility. While details of the motivations behind the shooting remain unnamed, the official report by the Baltimore Police clarifies the charges laid against Jessup.
