
Two men, both 29 years old, were taken into custody in Baltimore after an incident involving firearms and controlled substances. According to a Facebook post by the Baltimore Police Department, the arrest occurred during a late-night investigation on Aug. 22 in the West Saratoga Street area.

On Aug. 22, 2024, at around 11:17 p.m., detectives were conducting an investigation in the 400 block of West Saratoga Street.

Detectives on the scene successfully recovered a Springfield XD-40 .40 caliber handgun, complete with ammunition, and a controlled dangerous substance (CDS). The suspects, whose names have not been disclosed, are now facing the consequences of their actions.
They were transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility following their arrest. It is reported that they've been charged, although the specific charges were not outlined in the police department's social media update.
