
Baltimore was marked by another instance of gun violence this week, with police responding to a reported shooting on North Carey Street that left one man in critical condition. The Baltimore Police Department has confirmed that on August 6th, officers arrived on the scene in the Western District at about 3:29 p.m., after receiving reports of gunfire.
The victim, a 31-year-old man, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body emergency services quickly moved to transport him to a local hospital, and the severity of his injuries has prompted homicide detectives to take over the investigation.
