
Early morning actions by Baltimore Police resulted in the arrest of a young man for possession of a handgun. A post shared by the Baltimore Police Department confirmed the incident, which occurred on the 300 block of Water Street. Detectives from the Southeast District Action Team were conducting an investigation when they detained a 24-year-old male.

On Aug. 31, 2024, at around 2 a.m., Southeast District Action Team members were conducting an investigation in the 300 block of Water Street.

Police found a Taurus G3 9mm handgun with ammunition and took the man into custody without incident. He was later transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, with the arrest occurring around 2 a.m. The police did not specify what led to the investigation or if the suspect was involved in any other criminal activities.
The suspect's name has yet to be disclosed, pending the standard booking process and further investigation.
