
On an early August morning, Baltimore's efforts to address gun and drug crimes took a concrete shape as authorities reported a significant arrest. According to a post by the Baltimore Police Department, detectives from the WATF successfully took a 29-year-old male into custody on August 1. The arrest, involving an individual wanted for an open domestic warrant, occurred in the 3800 block of Hanover Street at around 8 a.m.

The suspect, who was not named in the release, was found to be in possession of not only a Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun but also a significant quantity of drugs. Evidence seized by the police included 100 grams of substances believed to be heroin and marijuana, along with several vials suspected to contain heroin/crack cocaine.
