Early on Monday, in the historic waterfront neighborhood of Fells Point, Baltimore, a woman was reportedly carjacked while sitting in her car. According to WCBM, police were called to the 600 block of S. Bond Street around 4:30 a.m. to investigate the incident.
A dark sedan pulled up next to the woman's vehicle, and two male suspects wearing ski masks and carrying shotguns demanded that she get out, according to a statement detailed by FOX Baltimore. After she complied, both men took off with her vehicle. The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, informed the officers that she had a registered firearm securely stored in her car at the time it was stolen. The second vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on Eastern Avenue.
The Baltimore Police are currently investigating this brazen act of daylight robbery. They encourage anyone with information about the carjacking to come forward and assist in the apprehension of the suspects.
