Friday and Saturday will bring mostly sunny skies with daytime highs in the low 80s and light southeast breezes at night, with temperatures cooling to the upper 60s. Sunday will remain partly sunny with a high near 80 but expect a higher chance of showers by evening.
Monday will see a significant increase in rain, with a 60% chance of showers, especially in the afternoon. High temperatures will be around 80 degrees. The chance of rain will remain between 40% and 60% through Wednesday, with unsettled weather continuing according to National Weather Service.
NBC Boston warns that strong storms on Thursday could bring small hail and high winds. After a dry Friday and Saturday, a slow-moving front will likely bring rain to start the following week.
Tropical Storm Ernesto is expected to create large swells along the New England coastline by Friday. Beachgoers should be cautious of rough surf and rip currents, as both land and sea are affected by this storm.
