The Boston Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 24-year-old Wedefegerson Desir, a resident of Brighton, who has not been seen since the early hours of Sunday, August 11. According to the official release from the Boston Police Department, Desir's last known location was at the Barking Crab restaurant situated at 88 Sleeper St, where, he left behind his personal belongings.
Desir, identified as a black male of Haitian descent is approximately 5’9” tall, and weighs, 140lbs. He has short hair, wears glasses, and importantly, suffers from mental health issues. The alert highlights that Desir does not have his medication, which raises concerns about his well-being. The Boston Police are asking anyone with information on Desir's location to call 911 or get in touch with Area C-6 Detectives at 617-343-4328.
To facilitate anonymous tips, the department has also provided ways for individuals to share information discreetly. Informants can call the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800 (494) -TIPS, or send a text with the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
