
The Boston Police Department has issued a community alert, calling for the public's aid in identifying an individual linked to a string of unarmed robberies. The suspect is believed to be connected to incidents in several Boston neighborhoods, according to a recent release from the department's official website.
The reported robberies occurred between June 8 and August 4, spanning across Hyde Park, Mattapan, Jamaica Plain, and West Roxbury. Detectives from District E-18 (Hyde Park) have shared an image of the alleged suspect, described as a Hispanic male, standing 5’6” tall, and aged between 18-20. Equipped with a hooded sweatshirt drawn tightly around his head, the suspect targeted individuals between the ages of 60-70, forcibly snatching their gold chains after trailing them from bus or train stations.
