
Boston police have arrested Shalia Brown, a 32-year-old resident, in connection with a stabbing in Roxbury this past weekend. Brown was identified by detectives through a photo and was found near the scene at 1965 Columbus Avenue. She is charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and is awaiting her court appearance in Roxbury District Court, according to the Boston Police Department.
The stabbing incident, which occurred the day before Brown's arrest, prompted District E-13 officers to respond to 2041 Columbus Avenue. There, they found two individuals with stab wounds. While one victim was rushed to a local hospital bearing non-life-threatening injuries, the other received treatment directly on the scene. The exact circumstances that led to the disturbance and the subsequent stabbing remain under investigation, and authorities have not yet released details about the motive or connection between the victims and the suspect.
