On Wednesday, expect a mix of sun and clouds with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Temperatures will reach around 87 degrees, with a southwest wind increasing to 13 to 16 mph and a 30% chance of rain.
Despite the potential storms on Wednesday, which NBC Boston notes could feature "large hail and damaging winds," residents can expect conditions to improve by Thursday. The forecast provided by the National Weather Service calls for mostly sunny skies, with highs around 72 and northeast winds around 10 mph.
For the holiday weekend, Friday will be sunny with highs around 73 and east winds at 5 to 9 mph. However, a cold front may bring showers starting Saturday afternoon and lasting into Sunday morning with a 40% chance of rain. Expect temperatures to be in the mid-70s on Saturday, near 80 on Sunday, and in the upper 70s for Labor Day.
