
The Bradenton Police Department is currently investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of a 36-year-old male bicyclist on Saturday night. The crash occurred before midnight, near 11:25 p.m., at the intersection of 14th Street West and 10th Avenue West, according to Bradenton.
According to FOX 13, the cyclist, whose identity has not yet been disclosed to the public, was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on 14th Street West as he was crossing the road. The driver involved in the collision did not remain at the scene following the event.
As mentioned in a report by WFLA, as of Sunday morning, no witnesses had come forward with information.
The Bradenton Police Department's Traffic Unit is actively seeking any information that could lead to locating and identifying the driver.
